After spending a couple of days exploring the city we were able to track down where the locals hang out. Turns out you just need to find the boats and doublewides and the best watering holes and restaurants are very close.
Best snacks and seafood at Lee Be Fish Company, fried shrimp was outstanding. Crabby Lady also a great spot right by the water.
Best breakfast was at Hoot’s but we’re still looking…
Best dinner was at Ed and Shelly’s, followed by the best gluten free desert. Company wasn’t too bad either.
Weather today was wonderful and we were able to break out the pickleball paddles since the first time we arrived. Spent the rest of the day exploring and checking out the wildlife, the island has a lot to offer. More great weather coming tomorrow with a freeze on Saturday. No problem, we’re heading farther south Sunday…
