Driving day – Looking for that elusive temperature anywhere below “Hades room temperature”, we drove 325 miles east until we could actually turn the fan speed down to medium. We landed in this beautiful park and immediately fell in love…with the weather. As we set up, the temperature was a cool 85 with a nice breeze off the lake.
Our plan is to stay a couple of days and drive to recommended cities before escaping north; Leipers Fork, Jackson, Franklin…
Hopefully the weather stays reasonable, we may extend if so…other than no internet it’s perfect.

Hello Tennessee.

Hello Ole Man River.

Good enough for the Indians, good enough for me.

Cheese…and crackers.

Good girl.

That there is art Clark.

Home for today.

You could always visit “Brother Jack” in Lynchburg.

Thanks, just looked it up. Probably won’t get that Far East but put it in the list coming back home. Thanks for recommending.
