Two Steps Forward

Well, another change of plans.

Seems we were not destined to take Little Al anywhere this month no matter how hard we tried.

Instead of heading to warmer weather we will be driving to the tourist destination of Dallas to babysit our granddaughter for the week. Again, a parent at her school was exposed to COVID and they have shut down the school for 2 weeks.

OK, better safe than sorry!

One step back for our trip. Little Al has no comment, he is not speaking to me.

One step forward, we get to hang with the sweetest and cutest little girl.

Second step forward, Marco done gone and got the shot.

Wait here, just a few ahead of you.

My truck got tagged.

Where’d everyone go, short wait inside?!

Didn’t feel a thing.

Nurse, “oh my hair looks so bad”. Marc, “yea, mine too.”

Nurse, “good one.” Marc, “what does that mean?”

  1. Glad that you were able to get the shot Marc. You were a lot more proactive about it than we have been. I’ve been waiting for my HEB pharmacy to get the vaccine, but as of this morning they still don’t have a supply of it for the over 65 cohort. It would be awfully convenient if our pharmacy had the vaccine. It’s just a block away. We could walk there. I’m thinking now that I need to explore other avenues of getting the shot.

Hope you are able to get back on the road again soon. “Happy trails!”
